’m back
Hey blog! If you don’t follow me on social media you may not know that I have returned to the US. Due to the rapidly changing border policies and wide spread corona virus we were pulled off the field. As of March 22 all international flights will be prohibited in and out of South Asia.
All world race teams have been pulled home. That’s over 500 people! 500+ people who are so on fire for Jesus is returning to the states. People who have seen miracles. People who are willing to sacrifice the norm for the sake of Jesus. The thing is the race doesn’t end when we get home. No we have powerful testaments of who our God is! We’re ready to talk about all we’ve seen. We’re ready to bring the gospel to a nation where everything is uncertain. Where fear is prowling the land. Bring stories of hope, faithfulness, and provision
Do I miss my team? Absolutely. I miss hiking up prayer mountain every morning. I miss the multiple cups of tea and conversations with friends. I miss the kiddos. I miss the community. I miss the family I left there.
But I’m so grateful to of had the chance to be there. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude. What’s privilege and honor to be apart of something so beautiful. Thank you Lord.
This isn’t the end. No, I have tons of stories to tell.
Prayer requests
- It’s been hard being back and not being able to do much because I’m on quarantine so pray for my sanity
- I got a message from a sweet friend back in South Asia letting us know that the markets have since closed. Which means no food. Luckily a lot of people have stocked up food but those who couldn’t are now in a bind. Prayers for the lord to provide all their needs
- Fundraising for my friends Haley and Jeremy
