“Go back?” he thought. “No good at all! Go sideways? Impossible! Go forward? Only thing to do! On we go!” So up he got, and trotted along with his little sword held in front of him and one hand feeling the wall, and his heart all of a patter and a pitter.”
-The Hobbit
I think about this past month and man, all I can say thank you to everyone at home. I have been sent so so well. Through prayer, words of encouragement, verses written to me, hugs, and so much more. You all have sent me so well. I cherish each one of you who have sent me.
I am sitting here in my bed at the hotel we met at for launch currently writing this. These past two days here have been so fruitful. We are being equipped with the last bit of training before we leave tomorrow morning for Australia. It’s a moment of calm right now and it is really nice to be able to sit here and rest till our meetings start again around 12:45.
Honestly I really just wanted to write a little update about where I am currently. I also want write a little encouragement to those reading. So last night during worship I have having a hard time focusing. The enemy was attacking me with lies and doubts (its crazy how he does that in the moments of us really seeking and pushing into God right?) that hadn’t been present since training camp. It was becoming over whelming and the only thing I could focus on. I couldn’t think of truth or scripture to be able fight the attack in the moment. I simply ask God to remind me of his truth and give me a verse to combat this lie that was flooding my mind. And man did He show up! Told me to go to Mark 4 and I went through and I saw his truth what He wanted to remind me of!
Ask God to give you the scripture in those moments of doubt! I promise He will show up and sustain you with his truth! That is his character and he will never be contrary to his character!
Some people on my squad are starting to come down a little cough. Be praying with us that this does not grow into anything else these next few days of travel! Be praying the Country of Australia. The fires have been fierce there and thankfully where we are going the fires are not as bad. Pray for rains, pray for the Spirit of the Lord to rest on the people of Australia, pray for the other believers who are there already and for the strength and boldness to share with people the testimony of Jesus!
Its happening people! Next time you will hear from me Ill be in the land down under!
