All I can say is “Wow!”
This whole fundraising process has truly been a miracle work! I never thought I would be able to reach this amazing feat and see friends and family come together in such a different way.
Money is one of those topics that no one likes to talk about its that one thing that we hold on to and protect. It’s one of our vulnerable spots where we tend to think that “I earned this money and worked hard for this and I’m going to hold tight to it.” When in reality that money was and is not ours it’s the Lord’s. He has graciously provided and gifted us with it. Just as it is easily given/ received the Lord can just as easily take it away. Our responsibility and task is to use it wisely and think what is the best way you/ I can invest it towards God’s Kingdom.
Like “The Parable of the Talents” in Matthew 25: 14- 30 we are entrusted with a responsibility. What are you/ I doing with what has been given to us? Are we doing something with it and investing it or are we laying it aside and leaving it idle? It looks different for everyone but it’s a great question to ask yourself.
Isiah 55 – talks about the invitation to an abundant life, the grace of God, and his promise. In verses 1 and 2 it says “Ho! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; who have no money, Come buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price. Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.”
This is the promise He gives us when we choose to invest in the kingdom!
Your gifts and donations are an investment towards Gods kingdom in which He is using me as a willing vessel in this season to fulfill His will in whatever it may be. You chose to enter in to/ join in what He is doing for the kingdom here on earth and it’s amazing! Change and movement would not happen without wonderful people like you! Thank you!
