Dear friends and family,
I have always had a soft spot for sharing the love of Jesus to people in foreign countries. Ever since my missions trip to Belize back in 2016, I knew that missions was something that God had intentionally laid on my heart. I love getting share the gospel with people who have so little then seeing their face light up with hope when they receive the good news of Jesus Christ. I made another trip to Belize the summer of 2018 and God continued to fuel my passion for missions work.
I began praying for God to open doors for new opportunities and give me guidance about what to do next. Soon, doors began to open and I decided to apply for the World Race Semester Program. This program offers 1-3 month long mission trips to different countries and is hosted by the organization Adventures in Missions. I received a phone call about two weeks later saying that I had been accepted! Praise the Lord!
This summer I have been given the opportunity to serve for one month in the beautiful country of Costa Rica. I will be leaving on May 30th 2019 and staying there for the month of June. When we are there, my team and I will be teaching English to children, participating in door-to-door evangelism, host Bible studies, and so much more!
I gratefully welcome all your prayers, love and support as I prepare for this exciting journey. My goal is to raise around $3,700 which will pay for all my food, living costs and travel expenses. Any form of financial support or words of encouragement is a huge blessing to me. I am so humbled that God has given me the opportunity to go on this missions trip and share the love of Jesus with others!
