I’m a child of God, also known as Hannah Upkes. I am from Camas, Washington, gotta love the Pacific Northwest! I am currently a senior at Camas High School! I felt a calling to not go to college right away so I have been listening to the Lord and am now on the path to missionary through World Race! I got two parents who love me dearly and have raised me well, shoutout to Papa Upkes and Mama K! I got an older brother, Patty Cakes and a younger sister, Mags. They have kept me in check all these years. We have a doggy named Mick, the best lap dog/blanket you could ask for! As of July 2018 we welcomed a new member to the family, my betta fish, Ferris. Yes he is named after Ferris Bueller. I love to hammock and paddle board and enjoy time outdoors! The photo above is from this past summer at the drive in movie in Newberg, Oregon. We decided to prove that you can really hammock anywhere, even between two cars when you’re waiting to see Incredibles 2. Jamming in the car to good tunes is always a highlight and getting to experience life with good people is a daily gift. Praising God for every breath, every moment and everything big and small throughout my day. I am always down to try new things and learn new skills. For example I have never done dance before, however my senior year of high school I joined our high school’s dance team! Nothing hurts from trying something new or learning a new skill! It adds more experiences to my life! You can often find me at the church working in child care or attending youth group and Sunday service. Getting to worship our Lord with great friends is a true gift.
