So, you wanna know a little about me…

I am a wandering child.

Lost, in the deep wilderness of His boundless grace.

I am a believer.

I believe in kindness over coolness.

I believe that laughter reverses wrinkles, that coffee has higher nutritional value than water, and cake frosting is definitely a food group.

I believe in the underdog, the hopeless, the “weird”, and the misunderstood.

I believe in love. The kind of love that seems fictional. You know, the wild, infinite love. The lavish love that Jesus bestows on each of us.

I believe in forgiveness. I believe in my daily deliverance from sin, to being sanctified by the blood of Lamb.

I believe that it is never too late to be whoever you want to be. In the words of the great F. Scott Fitzgerald, “I hope you live a life you’re proud of and if you find that you’re not, I hope you have the strength to start over.”

I have been broken, countlessly destroyed at no fault other than my own. I have grappled with desperation and distrust. Failure, was my familiar “friend.”

As I wandered around, starving for significance, hiding from a Father who I thought only lived in Heaven, I fell face forward into His mercy on earth.

I also believe God has a sense of humor.

I called myself “broken”, He called me “Beloved.”

I believe, that our Almighty God works for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.

The joyous Gospel, I cling to as my truth. Jesus Christ came, He lived, He healed, He sobbed, He laughed, He hugged, He loved…He died the death that I deserved.

Here I am, liberated and forgiven. Eagerly abandoning my former self in the pursuit of His Heart.

I will run fearlessly into the freedom of His promise.

Until Earth looks like Heaven, I will wander through the wilderness of the world, roaring His name to every brother and sister.

My hope is that my story intrigues you. That it inspires you to lose yourself, and find Jesus. I hope He enchants every fiber of your being. That you will explore His word and be romanced by His heart for you.

Finally, I pray that you will wander with God.
