Hey, so in case you didn’t know I’m back in the States. With the whole COVID-19 and laws being made and stuff, my route (and all the other routes too) were sent home 2 1/2 months early. I have a lot of different emotions about this. It is nice to see my family (and my friends once I’m done with my quarantining). However, I left my team and the rest of my friends on the squad suddenly. Everyone on my squad became my family. I had 8 brothers and 32 sisters that I always lived with. I would wake up and my team would be in the same room as me. I would get ready and go out and there would be someone sitting on the couch or by a tree outside doing their devos, someone eating breakfast or making coffee, people hanging out and just talking or goofing around. The hardest thing for me was leaving the community that I was in. We found out last Saturday, the 14th, that we were going home and flew to the States Wednesday the 18th. Since everything happened so fast, there hasn’t really been a whole lot of time to process leaving everyone and coming home. I won’t see my teammates/squadmates for a long time and having my whole squad, all 40+ together probably never again. I have a lot of different emotions and feelings about everything and I don’t really know where I’m at with them. I don’t want to take forever to get this blog up so I’m going to stop here, but I am going to try my hardest to keep blogging!

Until the next time……
