Hey! During one of our sessions here at debrief, we focused on fundraising! YAY! So I wanted to let you all know where I’m at with mine. I still need to fundraise, which doing overseas can be kinda scary. Part of that being I can’t talk to people in person or write out letters to send to people or go and talk at a church. However, when I first signed up for the World Race in January, one of the things I believed was that ‘If I’m supposed to go on the Race, that means God will provide my funding. No matter what.’ He has done just that! My first goal was $5,000 by June 18th. However, I had a problem; I was going to be gone June 1st-22nd. This meant for me I had to raise the money early… God is so good! I had it all raise a month early. My second goal was $10,000 by August 22nd. Again, God is so good! I met this goal 3 weeks early! I didn’t even have to worry about not meeting it. Since God had been providing for me early, I made a goal of trying to be fully funded before I left ($16,600). I was able to raise about $3,600 more before leaving, but I did not end up meeting the goal. God has a plan and that plan did not have me fully funded before leaving. I don’t understand why, but that’s okay. I still trust Him and know that He will always provide for me but in His timing.

This is how I feel about fundraising!

That being said, one of the things mentioned in the session was praying bold prayers. So, I thought that I would be praying my own bold prayer. That bold prayer of mine is “That I would raise the last $3,000 that I need by the end of next week.” That being said…I need your help! I encourage you guys to seek the Lord and ask Him how you guys can assist me in reaching this goal; whether it is through prayer, donating, or sharing my story with others. Please be in prayer for me!

I would also like to thank everyone who has donated to me so far and who has been praying for me. Thank you guys SO much!!! You are amazing and I couldn’t have done this without you (literally)!!

Until the next time……
