This past week in Gainesville, Georgia has been so life changing. My team of women is truly a blessing. Each one of us brings forth a different perspective and gift that will make our ministry in Costa Rica unique and from the Lord.
The three topics we have learned and focused on are these:
1. Community- being with people and being people that build others up in love
2. Mission- going out to the world and sharing Gods love and being His hands and feet
3. Intimacy- truly being intimate with the Lord and hearing His voice and listening to Him and loving Him like he loves us
My favorite thing about camp so far has been learning to worship whole-heartedly and pour out my heart and soul to the Lord. Because he LOVES me, and he is worthy of all our praises.
Things I have grown to be thankful for? Bucket showers. This is a TASK. Ha! But it is a blessing to have clean water and to be able to shower and be clean.
We were asked at the beginning of training to come up with three truths about ourselves that the Lord tells us. My three words are… I am ENOUGH, I am SAVED, and I am LOVED. Being around women who are bold and brave in the Lord is a great gift. They pray for me, love on me, and I get to pray and love on them too.
THANK YOU for your continued prayers. We head to the airport Monday morning and fly to Costa Rica early afternoon. Our flight is about four hours. Please pray for our travels and our first ministry. We will be staying with a ministry host, so please pray for preparation and blessings over them.
