Hey guys! As my first blog post I am uploading my support letter. In the time leading up, and during my time in Costa Rica, I will be making regular posts on this blog about my experiences along the way. I appreciate you coming beside me on this journey and invite you to share comments, feedback or words of encouragement.
Dear friends and family,
As you all may very well know, one of the things I am most passionate about is missions in foreign countries. In the last five years, I have made three trips to Gonaives, Haiti, to serve at #1 Hope Street Orphanage with Christopher’s Hope Ministry.
A new opportunity has presented itself for me to serve in a different country. Adventures in Missions has accepted me into the World Race: Semesters program for this coming summer, leaving May 30th, 2019 for the month of June. I will be going to Costa Rica to teach English to children, host bible studies, participate in door-to-door evangelism, and so much more!
At this time, I would humbly ask for your support. This could be in the form of prayer, encouragement, or financial contribution. I have to raise roughly $4,000 to make this trip happen. This cost covers lodging, food, travel, and travelers insurance. As I stated before, ANY support or encouragement will be a huge blessing to me.
I am so excited to visit a new country, form new relationships with others, and spread the love of Jesus to the people of Costa Rica.
