If you haven’t already figured it out, my name is Ethan Patenaude! I am currently 20 years old, and I am from North Mankato, MN.
My favorite color is light tan. I like serving the Lord, hiking, and playing volleyball. I am an ENTP. I am fascinated by Jungian personality theory and cognitive functions and enjoy studying it in my spare time. I love to play board games (Settlers of Catan is the best), and am a very competitive person. I love anything strategy related, and also enjoy solving logic puzzles. I play piano and guitar, and I sing. I am co-worship leader at my church with my dad, and I have a huge passion for music ministry. I used to play the trombone in high school and was heavily involved in band and choir. My favorite band is Switchfoot. I was a swimmer for 12 years throughout elementary school, high school, and college. I have also dabbled in coaching since I quit swimming. It is a sport that I will always enjoy being a part of, and I would love to be the head coach of a serious team sometime in the future. I love to watch movies of any kind. My favorite has got to be The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I graduated from Mankato West High School in 2016, and I took 3 semesters of college at Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. Due to a multitude of reasons, I left school and moved back home to Minnesota. I am currently working full-time at Panera Bread, and part-time doing music at my church. My family consists of my dad (Dana), my mom (Nedra), and my 3 younger sisters (Hannah, Sarah and Elizabeth). (Also two dogs and three cats).
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! I am excited for this journey, and I hope you will be a part of it with me! If you want to stay updated, just follow my blog. I will be posting regular updates about my fundraising process, and eventually, my travels! I am extremely excited for what God will do through me and my peers through the World Race!
Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!
