hi friends! this week I want to introduce you to team mariposa -the four incredible women I have the opportunity to shepherd into Jesus’s arms in this season!! wowza wowie wow it has been such an honor and privilege to deeply know and love each of these young women throughout the past month, and I have been filled with excitement over the beautiful things that Abba is doing in each of their hearts! sooooo, without further adieu here are the daughters of team mariposa !!

emily: man, this girl is a woman of incredible vulnerability. she chooses daily to approach God’s throne room with a “yes” in her spirit, ready to walk through anything He has for her. she is willing and excited to share the most tender parts of her heart for the sake of church unity and harmony. it is an incredible honor to shepherd emily’s heart into Jesus’ arms.
lydia: a daughter of deep and True joy!! it has been sooooo fun to get to know lydia over the past month and to be invited into her heart and life! when I think of lydia, the song lyrics that come to mind are “do whatever you want to do, and say whatever you want to say, move however you want to move, and change whatever you want to change”. she approaches God’s throne room with her heart laid out before Him, begging Him to do a work in her – and it is just so dang beautiful. it is an incredible honor to shepherd lydia’s heart into Jesus’ arms.
claire: claire walks in beautiful courage. she chooses into growth even if it means choosing something that pushes her outside of her comfort zone, because she has decided that following Jesus and loving others is worth it to her. what a beautiful heart posture to have – am I right or am I right? it is an incredible honor to shepherd claire’s heart into Jesus’ arms.
emma: gentle and kind are the words that come to mind when I think about the sweetness that is emma neal. emma’s desire is to sit at the foot of the cross and simply be with the Lord of her life – and this is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. she simply desires to know her Maker in the most intimate way, and He is pulling her deep, deep, deep into His embrace. it is an incredible honor to shepherd emma’s heart into Jesus’ arms.
mariposa: it is a real big honor to hold your hearts, and push you deeper into Abba’s embrace. you are some powerful women – walking in courage, vulnerability, Truth, joy, and deep hunger for Jesus. you are each so beautifully and intricately made by the Perfect Maker, and watching Him speak tenderly to you is such a gift. you are deeply loved.
ok ok ok, exciting news !! this saturday, october 3rd through october 10th I am heading to DeQuincy, Louisiana to work with Samaritans Purse on disaster relief!!! Samaritans Purse is an incredible Christ focused organization that exists to bring physical relief to communities that have been impacted by natural disasters, lack of clean water and sustainable food, and other humanitarian crises. my squad and I will be doing manual labor (clearing out homes, rebuilding homes, cleaning up debris, etc.), as well as sharing the Gospel of Christ with those who have had almost everything taken away from them. I could not be more excited for what God is going to do in our squad and also in the people we will be able to serve this week, and I am going in expectant of a move from Heaven! please join me in praying for my squad and for the hearts of those who we are privileged enough to love, that they would be receptive to the goodness of God.
