heyyyyyyy everyone!
I hope that you all are doing well and enjoying summer!! I wanted to take this opportunity to reach out with some new updates about my upcoming season as an alumni team leader on the world race! due to the uncertainty of borders opening and safety regarding international travel, adventures in missions has decided that for this fall (September through the middle of December) it is best that they keep their gap year missionaries inside of the United States! this means that instead of going to Guatemala and Costa Rica as was the original plan, I will be spending this time in Gainesville Georgia with my new squad!! while in Georgia we will be specifically focusing on intentional discipleship as well as being the hands and feet of Christ in our own backyard! while this will look somewhat different every day whether it be through partnering with an already established ministry in Georgia, street evangelism, kids ministry or Church activation, I am so confident that God wants to radically shake the ground with His Spirit and reveal His glory and goodness to so many individuals. my primary ministry as an alumni team leader is to help new racers adjust to life in race community, full time ministry, and really just loving them and supporting them through it all! while this obviously wasn’t what I was expecting this season to look like, I could not be more confident, honored, and excited to step into this time with God and my new squad (heyyyyy gap c!!)! our country is very clearly hurting right now and in desperate need of Jesus’ perfect love, and I am so excited to be a part of the Kingdom Movement currently going on in the United States!
I’ve spent the last couple of months praying over this new season, new squad, new place, etc. with my leadership team and WOW (!!!) God is already declaring the most beautiful things over all of it! this is going to be such a sweet season of freedom and joy because, guess what!? . . . our God is a good God of freedom and joy! amen!!
in order to step into this season I will need to fundraise $2,000 (maybe a little more depending on flight costs to and from Georgia), so I need your help! as I have been praying about fundraising for this specific ministry, God kept reminding me what an incredible opportunity this is for all of you to choose to bring Kingdom to the United States! what a beautiful investment! I would so appreciate it if you would pray about if God is asking you to invest in His Kingdom through me! I would also so super duper appreciate allllllll the prayers! prayers for me to lead in Truth and be sensitive to the Holy Spirit, for my team that they would step into all that Abba has for them in this new season of life, and for every place that we go to be radically transformed by the Gospel!
