Hi MTV, welcome to my World Race Cribs (in other news we have safely arrived at our home for the month in Uzbekistan! My team has the awesome opportunity to send in a proposal and add another country to our list. We have decided to partner with a local ministry in Uzbekistan for two weeks by teaching English and spending time encouraging the youth and women.

Day 102 : L O V E D
I’m about to get real mushy for a minute but bear with me y’all. I woke up this morning feeling irritated with my looks, my clothes, and my hair. I’ve been wearing the same outfits on rotation for going on four months now and let me tell you THEY GET OLD REAL FAST. I wanted to be anywhere but here in any clothes but mine. My teammates Kenz and Mich loved me so well through all of it. They listened to me ramble about how sick I was of wearing my clothes and how I was struggling with comparing my beauty to other girls. Then instead of just affirming with just words, they opened up their wardrobes to me, did my makeup, and took me out to lunch at the cutest cafe. On days like this when I’m feeling my worst. I’m blessed to be surrounded by people who chose to love me on the bad days and go out of their way to love me. I wouldn’t want to be on this adventure with anyone else!

DAY 111: W I L D
I’m sitting in a train station about to start my journey to country number 5 ?? how WILD that I get to spend my days loving on people, talking about Jesus, and seeing everything the world has to offer. I’m so thankful each and every day for this opportunity and life. I wouldn’t trade a single moment of this crazy journey for anything (except maybe a hug with Jesus cuz I mean ?!?!?!! It’s a hug with Jesus?!?!?)

For safety reasons I have not posted any pictures of the people we partnered with there or the location we were at. Uzbekistan is a closed country where is can be extremely dangerous for people to be Christians. Please pray for safety, protection, and boldness for our brothers and sisters there.
