On this date I rededicated my life to Christ. That’s right, I got baptized! The lord has been doing some WORK on me this year you guys, and I could not think of a better way to truly celebrate him and thank him for all that he has done for me.
This ceremony is something I will NEVER forget. It all went down at Mercy Hill College Easter Service. I and many other college students made the decision to claim Jesus Christ as our savior. I mean WOW. This was something I’m so glad I got to be a part of and see. In today’s society there is so much judgement placed on teenagers and college aged students. For some reason people think we are all no good. But in that room there was nothing but college kids worshiping God to their hearts content, and we had about 20 get baptized that night. There are not words for how amazing this experience was, there was not a dry eye in the house.
Being publicly baptized was an amazing experience. I got to show my friends and family that the lord owns my heart, and there is no one that is going to change that. As I said before, the lord has done some work on me this year, and I truly believe it is all in preparation for what he has in store for me this summer sharing his grace in Swaziland.
I felt the need to share my baptism with as many people as possible, and I am so thankful that the world race gives me this platform to share his word. Thanks again everyone for all of the prayers and support. Keep them coming!
