Hey all!
Right now I’m on the way to training camp! I can’t believe the time to go is now.
As I reflect back on the last few months of preparation I think of how God has really helped me grow in character and faith. This is obviously so important in regards to this trip because personal growth helps me to have an open heart and an open mind as I go out into these different countries!
Here’s a quote I saw the other day and I think it is sooo important.
“We influence others as much as we let God influence us”
I’ve come to the conclusion that if I am whole heartedly invested and open in my relationship with Christ, people will be influenced whether I see it or not.
That is my plan on this mission, to focus on Jesus and focus on love.
I think it would be easy to get wrapped up in the glory of traveling across the world, or to over-complicate things.
When it comes down to it, loving like Christ and sharing that love is what its all about!
