a few things to know about what makes me, me!
- i’m from st. louis, missouri and love just about everything that has to do with my city | GO CARDINALS |
- coffee runs in my veins, all i need is a iced dirty chai and i’m happy
- climbing a mountain or getting lost in the woods is my favorite pastime
- watching a football or baseball game is one of my favorite activities
- i love baking, especially a kentucky derby pie
- listening and singing to music is my therapy
- have car, would travel. give me a destination and i’m there
- i love deep talks and understanding other peoples ideas and beliefs
- nothing gives me more energy than hanging out with friends and going on adventures
- i’m the baby of four and my family is my rock
- i love movies, especially Harry Potter or any movie that starts a conversation about life and the way we live it
- i love sitting around a dinner table with my family or good friends
- I LOVE HUGS; gotta love physical touch am i right
- i love math and solving problems
- i go by clara grace even though some may know me as clara
I’m currently a junior at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas studying Math and Secondary Education. I hope to one day take my love for mathematics into the public schools of St. Louis and teach middle school. This summer, I decided I needed a change from the norm that has been my summers in the past. I loved spending my time nannying, but decided I wanted to spend my summer serving the Lord in a larger capacity. I have the amazing opportunity to head to Swaziland and South Africa and serve in different ways through the organization Adventures in Missions. I cannot wait to see how am I pushed to grow, depend on God, and rely on him in these countries. My prayer is that I give it all to Him, knowing I cannot control all of my surroundings, though I may try. As far as the trip goes, I ask for your prayers throughout the entire process.
