Hello everyone!
I know why you’re here. You want to know my secret. Well, be warned this could really change your life. Unlocking this will unlock amazing new worlds. Any future racers reading, listen up because this is very valuable and crucial information. This is how to shower with ice cold water.
Step One: Make sure you have gathered your towel, shampoo, conditioner, hairbrush and soap. You also should be wearing the clothes you’ll wear out of the shower.
Step Two: Walk in and close the door, check to make sure it won’t open halfway through your shower.
Step Three: Get ready for the shower, cough a lot so that anyone who may be outside knows you are in there and should not open the door for you are in a vulnerable state.
Step Four: Put all your clothes back on because you forgot your shampoo. If you remembered your shampoo, congratulations! Your prize is skipping to step seven.
Step Five: Go retrieve your shampoo.
Step Six: Redo steps two and three.
Step Seven: Turn on the ice water after realizing the hot water, yet again, does nothing.
Step Eight: Rinse off your arms and legs to try to get used to the icy experience you’re about to have.
Step Nine: Turn your back to the water and put your head under the faucet. Brace yourself for some gasps, Christian curse words under your breath, and your breathing to stop momentarily.
Step Ten: Straighten out your back and let the water run down. Painful I know but let the fact that you’re on the race to serve the Lord be your motivation to get this step done. Cost of discipleship baby!
Step Eleven: Repeat step nine until your hair is completely wet. Remember, it gets better.
Step Twelve: Scream deny yourself.
Step Thirteen: Wash your hair and body like you normally would.
Step Fourteen: (optional) If you only have one towel, like most do on the race, and you are a girl this could be of help to you. Dry off your arms and stomach, flip your hair over then dry your back and the rest of your body before doing the turban thing for your hair.
Showering with ice cold water is a challenge until you get past the initial shock of the water stopping you from breathing properly. Also, remember that once you’ve mastered the true skill and art form that is showering with cold water, if the hot water ever goes off in your house so your family doesn’t want to shower because it’s too cold you will be able to stay clean and fresh. I hope you enjoyed these tips and tricks!
That’s all for now!
See you soon!
