hello! I made it to my new home in Gainesville, GA!!

A few weeks ago I moved into my new house with 14 other girls. It’s a beautiful cabin that sits on 73 acres of land with a mile long gravel road driveway- this means lots of peace and quiet compared to Portland! I have the joy of living with my two roommates Maggie & Carissa! Maggie is from Georgia, she also team led for a different squad this past fall on AIMS campus so I’ve gotten to see her often but now I get to actually know her which is so fun. Carissa is from Texas, she is another person I’ve known of since our training camp in 2019 but have only really seen in passing. I’m super excited to get to build real life friendships with each of them, we’ve only been roommates for five days and I already love it so much.

We live in a cozy room that overlooks a WATERFALL in our backyard!! Across the hall from us is one of our house mentors, Erika, she’s on staff at AIM and lives with us to encourage us in all things as we navigate living as “adults”, give wisdom, and just do life with us. Our other house mentor is Abby who also did the race, CGA and then was a CGA intern. They both pour into us and love us so well!

The twelve of us that moved in are all currently CGA apprentices this semester. Monday, the 25th, we had our first day of CGA class. It feels strange to get back in the groove of waking up and going to class each day although I am so ready and expectant for all the Lord will do in and through our class. Please be praying for our time here as we continue to get settled in, look for jobs, & ask what the Lord what He has for us in Gainesville.
