Hey friends, comin’ atcha with a fun little announcement!

After being here in Gainesville, GA for a little over a month and being quarantined to AIMs campus, the Lord has opened the door for us to leave campus & get our hands dirty!!

When leaders and racers arrived on campus we were told that we likely wouldn’t get to do ministry off-campus during our three months here; however, staff was still dreamin’ and schemin’ of ways our racers would be able to do some hands on ministry before they launch internationally in January.

. . . so DRUM ROLL PLEASE . . .

WE’RE GOING TO LOUISIANA !!

(hehe gotcha!! LA the state not the city;)

Two weeks ago, it was announced to our squad that we will be traveling a few states over to do disaster relief work with the organization Samaritan’s Purse from October 10-17! Samaritan’s Purse works with communities that need help after some sort of natural disaster by rebuilding homes, facilitating cleanup work, providing clean water, and evangelizing all along the way!

While we’re here in Georgia, leading and discipling my team is my ministry, so the prospect of not getting to leave to do ministry wasn’t completely heartbreaking. That being said, it makes my heart smile so big that I get the opportunity to walk with my team through their first real ministry opportunity!! Thanks God!!

Prayers for safe travels and high energy as we prepare to go meet the physical needs of others while bringing the Good News over the seven days that we will be gone are much appreciated! Thank you to everyone for all of the support you have shown me so far, whether it was financial, spiritual, or both! I wouldn’t be here without all of you, and it’s an honor to share everything that the Lord is doing in and through myself and my team in this season!

Catch y’all on the flip side!
