I just wanted to take a second and share a little bit about myself and my story! I was born and raised in Warner Robins Georgia, right outside of Macon. I grew up living with my father and my brother. We didn’t always have it theist, but we’d make do. I was no where near following Jesus as I grew up. I chose the wrong decisions, and went down a bad path. I was unable to see the wrong I was doing, because to me it felt right. I had been doing these bad things from such a young age that it stuck, still making it difficult today to resist. About a month or two before my 16th birthday ( November 20th) I reconnected with my mom, causing me to reunite with Christ himself. I moved in with her shortly after. I found myself in an amazing faith based and family filled life. Although, something was still missing. I wasn’t plugged into a church. This lead me to finding my mom’s old church home “Church of the Highlands’ in Tuscaloosa, AL. I found a place to be planted and thriving. I found my home. Not knowing, I would spend the next 2 years growing in deep meaningful relationships and learning how to pursue a relationship with God like never before! I now serve on the student connect team, reaching out to students and helping them become family. 🙂
