We made it!!! In 6 weeks you have raised $5,900 of support towards my mission with World Race: Semester to the Philippines. (Because I’ve reached the full basic trip cost any further donations to Adventures in Missions through this blog will not be applied to my trip.) I leave for training camp the day after tomorrow and am currently packing and saying my goodbyes. As sad as saying goodbye to mentors, friends, family, and all those who have cared for and invested in me, I’ve found joy in the love and bitter sweetness of each goodbye.
For those of you who I have not had a chance to speak to in more detail about my trip, I will be leaving for training camp on the 23rd, leaving the country on the 28th, and three months later return on the 28th of April.
