Welcome everyone to my blog!
Really fast before I start, this is the first time I have EVER blogged! It’s new and kind of scary but it will only be new and scary once and then it will be normal.
I honestly use that memo for a lot of the things in my life (not including public speaking because that is always scary) because if I didn’t think of new things like that I probably would never try new things. I’m a big fan of trying new food and going to new places! It helped a lot that my parents lived in two different states. Without them I most likely would have stayed in one place my whole life but they opened my eyes to so much. With their love, support, and help I have traveled to France, Germany, Haiti, Spain, Bahamas, South Africa, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, and The Vatican. So as you can probably tell I like to travel.
Traveling wasn’t the only thing that I loved at a young age. When I was 14 years old I went on my first mission trip to Haiti. I was a stubborn kid, so I wasn’t happy that both my parents had to go with me, but I thank God to this day that they did. During the trip I watched God change my dad before my eyes. I was a believer in God before the trip but after the trip I knew God was for me and not against me.
It’s crazy how one moment can change the way you feel or the way you live your life. My first mission trip did that for me. I knew that I wanted to share God with the world and see how He changes the lives of people all over the world! I wasn’t sure how I was going to do it but I knew that part wasn’t up to me. God knew what He was doing when He sent me to Haiti and he knew what he was doing when he sent me to South Africa this winter too. While in South Africa God took me to new places in my faith and in my life. It was there that I got to meet a World Race team. The second I heard what they were doing and what the World Race was about, I felt like God had just opened another door for me, and I was right!
Its going to be scary at first but once I let God work in me and through me I know He is going to do amazing things!
Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.”
