This title seemed suiting to me and as you all who read my blogs, I can hope that you see to this strong perspective of mine that God spoke to me last Sunday at church. Sunday was an eventful day, let me walk you through it;

8:30am I woke up and looked through Pinterest (I’m addicted) and laid with my dog on the couch

8:45am I then transitioned to lay on top of my dog because he’s literally the cutest thing in the world even though he was probably thinking “GET OFF OF ME YOU’RE SO ANNOYING”

9am I finally got of the couch and hopped in the shower

9:23 am(rough estimate) I got out turned on my worship playlist and started getting ready

9:30 something am  I went back the couch and woke my dog up again to pet him because he’s still the cutest thing

9:45am went back into the bathroom and finished getting ready

10am packed up my things and said goodbye to my dad and stepmom

10:10am said goodbye to my dog

10:20am left the house and drove to Lifepoint

11am walked through the doors of my church and went in the growth track room to decide how I will be helping my church out every Sunday!

12:30pm I waited around for my 1pm service and ran into my friend who told me I should come with her and another friend of ours to a small group after my service (which I did go to btw and I loved it)

1:05pm I walked into my service (I’ve got it all figured out, if you’re by yourself and go in 5mins late you instantly get a seat smack dab in the front row)

1:15pm A man comes and stands at the seat next to me during worship and instantly in my heart I knew this man needed me to pray for him

1:25pm we all were seated and the service began by our pastor’s close friend who is a pastor from London

1:27pm From what I thought was congestion turned out to not be that at all. His eyes were shut his neck hung off his shoulder and he was snoring.

I’m done with the time stamps now just read the rest of the blog.

The first thought that came to mind was “is this man seriously sleeping IN CHURCH”

When I tell you I was judging hardcore I mean HARDCORE I started to come up with excuses to why there was any reason this man could be sleeping during the service and I could not wrap my mind around it.

Then all the sudden this switch flipped in me and I swear I heard God say “who are you to judge? Have you not sinned before?”

Wow God I have never heard you talk to me like that but you’re right.

Whatever the reason for this man to be sleeping in church was unknown, but at least he was there. THIS MAN SHOWED UP TO CHURCH! He didn’t make an excuse and say “Oh I’ll go next weekend… blah blah blah.” No he came to church no matter how exhausted he was and HE.WAS.THERE. So no one has the right to judge this man.

So when God called me out that’s when I realized instead of judging this man I can pray for him which was my initial instinct when he walked in the room. He was the lamb and in that moment of judgement I was the lion, however usually these 2 animals in the bible are pictured in unity but my lion was just plain out to get the lamb. That type of lion isn’t who I was to be. I want to be in unity before judgment because honestly I’m not one to judge, and neither are you, or your friends.

Just a pause in time right now it is currently 8:12pm and for a split second my mouth just dropped wide open because I must’ve hit the wrong button and it looked like all my work I had been writing since 7:20 DISAPPEARED but good news I fixed it! SHEW!THANK YOU JESUS!

Okay on that note my whole message of this blog is; stop judging others it isn’t your place.
