So if your reading this it means you are curious to what it is I am doing and why I am in Peru (I’m in Peru by the way been here a month now). I’m with an organization called Adventures in Mission and they run a program called the world race. Which is where university students can take 3 months, a semester off and do some pretty cool stuff. Being here a month has come with many stories and adventures, to many to share in this blog but I look forward to sharing them when I get back. But i will share a little bit with you now. I’m with a group of 9 people and all of them being American, so I’m standing my ground over here being the only Canadian. I’ve done some pretty cool stuff like sandboarding, visiting ancient ruins, doing a clean water project in Cajamarca for a few days and delivering some samaritans purse gifts to little kids through our vbs kids club, all amazing experiences. My time in Trujillo (the city I’m currently in) is coming to an end and a new journey up to Lima the capital city in Peru awaits where the population is 11 million! Wish us luck in traffic. So yeah there’s my little update for you, honestly if your reading this and your not my mom I am generally amazed and a little surprised. This is my first blog and when my teammates found out I haven’t blog yet they freaked out also my mom and sister were demanding I post something so here you go. I’m safe, eating well (nothing but fresh fruit, veggies and meat) feeling good and have a nice tan what else could you ask for. Oh and also I’m getting pretty good at Spanish, anyways until next time not sure when that is, (honestly depends on how many people care to read these blogs of mine) but I’ll let you guys know, Adios
P.S if there is anything more specific you want to know about shoot me a text I’d love to fill you in
