Time has flown by so fast! It’s crazy to think that this time next week we will be in Nicaragua. We leave this Sunday and after a couple of bus rides and four flights (layovers in Russia & Miami!) our feet will be in our last country! & I get to see my parents in less than a month! lots of exciting things coming up. but I wanted to share with y’all what ministry has looked like this past month!

We have been working at wildflower home! This is a rehabilitation center for women who come from crisis situations such as pregnancy, domestic abuse, severe poverty etc. The center is completely self-sustainable so our days typically look like shoveling dirt (trying to fill a ditch so they can plant a garden), hoeing the fields, raking leaves, pulling weeds, hanging mushrooms (pictured below), and anything else they might need help with! The mothers that live at wildflower home also work alongside us, and let me tell you.. I have never met such strong, resilient women in my life. It has been so sweet building relationships with them, joking around with them as we wheelbarrow dirt allllll day long, or sitting around eating rose apples on break! The heart behind this home for these women is to empower them and their children to be able to develop themselves, gain self-confidence, and to learn life skills. They are taught English and provided for with shelter, food, protection, and quality care. These women are truly so special to me. Working alongside them the past three weeks doing manual labor has been so empowering. To be able to see the hard work we have accomplished and recognizing that the Lord completely sustained us and was our strength throughout it all. The Lord has really blessed me with incredible ministry opportunities while being here in Thailand. here are some pictures from our time at wildflower home!

the famous dirt pile! we had truck loads of new dirt come almost every other day

this is us with the mothers on valentines day. They made us little paper roses and gave us sweet treats! We also wrote them notes and made flower bouquets for them, letting them know they are loved and valued!
