There is a verse in scripture that tells us to leave our father and mother to go and follow him. When Jesus said this for some people its like cool let me get an apartment down the street but for me following Jesus is taking me around the world. I am and was super excited to be going on this journey but through launch and leaving home i realized how hard good bye can be.
Having my last times in church being able to sing on the worship team and share a word with them was absolutely amazing but leaving was emotional and hard for me to realize next Sunday I will be in Romania. Saying goodbye to my family the night before even more so and my mom here at launch even more so so so.
To my family, church family, and my hard goodbye, my deepest gratitude. You collectively have grown me into the woman of God I am today and encourage me to keep fighting to dig deeper, to reach the even better woman I will be.
There is also a scripture that tells us where 2 or more are gathered his presence is there with them. Well now 22 of us are gathered together and so ready to be the church in other nations. My beautiful hello is 22 amazing people from different walks of life that are now deciding to follow Jesus together.
These 22 souls are my new family and I love them so much. To my new family, and my beautiful hello, thank you. Thank you for welcoming me with open arms. Thank yo for vowing not only to do the next 9 months with me but to do life with me. And good luck because I may be 4’11” but i promise you I am two handfuls. Cheers to the next 9 months!
