Hey Friends!

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Amber!

I’m kinda new to this whole blog thing so..yea 🙂

I’m so excited to announce that I have officially been accepted to the Adventures in Missions World Race Semesters program, which means I’m going to be headed to Ecuador for the month of June this year!

So a bit about me…

  • I live in Pennsylvania with my parents, grandpa, and four siblings.
  • I’m 18 years old and a freshman in college. I’m going to school to study music and audio technology for recording studios.
  • When I’m not playing music (which is a rare occasion lol), I love anything art related. I really love photography, painting, and calligraphy as well.
  • I’m overly sarcastic all of the time, I love the sky, and the ocean…
  • My brother defines me as a “want-to-be hipster nerd” (which is quite accurate most days).

Next big question, why am I going on a missions trip?

Well, I didn’t have some huge revelation moment where God told me that He wanted me to go on a trip. It was more like little signs here and there over the past year that led me to this decision. Seeing videos of the kids in other countries, listening to friends that have gone on missions trips, seeing how different people have been changes by their experiences, and ultimately the way in which they encounter God and are able to spread His love to different people.

God put it on my heart to apply to the World Race Semesters a few months ago, now that I’ve gotten accepted, it’s full speed ahead!!

If you want to keep in touch or follow my journey preparing for this trip, then feel free to subscribe to the blog

I know its three months away, but preparation is still starting, so…

  • Any and all prayer is GREATLY appreciated!
  • As most people know, traveling to another country for an entire month is a bit costly.  If you feel led to contribute in any way financially, there is a orange button at the top of my blog page labeled “Donate!”. It will bring you right to my fundraising campaign!

Thank you so so so much for taking the time to read this! It means the world to me!!

Much love

Isaiah 6:8
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
