Yoooo! I am so freaking excited to share with you two pieces of awesome news! Let’s start with the first one.
Thank you so much to all of you that have supported me financially, prayerfully, and encouragefully! (not sure if that’s a word, but you get it) Your sacrifice has helped both me as well as my entire squad spread the Gospel to places that have never had a chance to know the truth of Jesus Christ. We have shared in our actions towards one another, towards people we meet, and the words that we speak, the beautiful love of Christ.
I could scarcely speak of all the things that God has done this year, the faithfulness he has shown, and the way he has captured the hearts of these sons and daughters of the most high King that I’ve been with on this journey, and especially of my own! Let me share a little bit on that.
God has ripped open the calloused parts of my heart, removing this coarse, ugly, dark, stony heart of mine. And so graciously given me this heart of flesh that feels once again. He has showed me what it looks like to truly love people. To go out of my way, to fight to love people. More than that, what it means to run furiously towards Jesus. It’s ugly sometimes, and man let me tell you, He’s so cool with that. Screw the prip and proper way of doing things, He just wants you to come to Him, to know who He says that you are, to live in the truth of Jesus Christ. That’s what I’ve found. I’ve given and received forgiveness, fought with and for people, got messy, experienced reconciliation, created new relationships, understood community in a whole new light, made a new best friend, found my purpose, dreamed big, wept deeply, loved wildly, and just lived this life to the fullest for the sake of Christ.
None of those things would have happened this year if it wasn’t for all of you supporting me in all of the ways that you supported me! All of which I am eternally grateful for! Thank you for being a part of this! It’s not just me that got to come out here, you have invested in the gospel, invested in the kingdom that was able to be brought to all of these beautiful people God let us love on as well as the good work that God is doing in me for the sake of the kingdom. I can’t tell you how grateful I am for everything that you sacrificed for Christ!
I almost forgot I had another thing to share with you!
I’m not done yet hahahahaha!
I’m going back out as an alumni team leader in January 2020 with another expedition squad that will be launching only a month after I get back home! I’ll be with E squad and we are going to Austrailia, Indonesia, India, and Nepal. So I will be gone for 4 months with my new squad, while they continue to another 7 countries after I leave. I am so excited for this opportunity to go back out and love on all these guys and continue to bring Kingdom to these places that need to know Jesus! Also, I haven’t even met my new squad yet (obviously, I’m still on the field) BUT they are on FIRE! I cannot explain how ecstatic I am to see God moving in this group of His children!
That being said, apparently I don’t get to go for free… what a bummer haha. So I’m still in need of your support! I’ve already raised almost $500 and just need $5000 more for those months I will be back on the field! That’s only $800 each month for the next 6 months! God provided for my $19,000, which I thought was impossible, so I know He will take care of this next season!
