Starting from now, starting from here, from small things, from what one can, from me. ~DAIL Community of Nepal
From one man’s hardship came his heart to feed many. Through one man’s faith came a center to feed 300 to 500 children everyday. Along with one man came many to be a hope for little ones along the riverside of Kathmandu.

I have been reminded again and again on the Race of the power of -1-. Yes, we should have a plan. Yes, we should not enable people. Yes, we should be good stewards. Yes, we want to know we’re making a difference. Yes, we want to know why. Sometimes I overthink things and write off a thought because I don’t think it’ll be worth it. God has been teaching me about the -1- attitude: even if it was for one person, would you still do it? And even if one person is against you, would you still do it?
If one person shows up to hear you preach, would you still do it? Or will you think it’s a waste of time?
If you had $5 dollars, would you give it to the one person in front of you? Or will you choose to do nothing because you can’t help everyone?
If one person rejected you, would you keep doing it? Or will you only do things that make you feel good?
If one person criticized you, would you be confident? Or will you question if you’re good enough?
Am I [God] enough for you? Will you trust me?
It’s not always easy to say yes, but I’ve found that God is always worth it… even if I can’t see the results, even if I don’t hear a job well done, even if it’s just for one person, even if one person doesn’t agree with it. Because God is the reason.
Nepal has been one of my favorite countries to visit. Who would’ve ever thought I’d be here washing dishes?? 🙂 Help me get fully funded this month by donating! I have $6,532 to go.

In the ways of Nepal…

P.s. nepali kids are very innovative on the seesaw. Also the cutest.
