I am excited to share with you how my experience so far with the World Race is going.

To start I wanted to say once again how grateful I am for everyone who has prayed, encouraged, and donated to my trip. Having you by my side through this journey means so much to me.

Something different about the World Race that I love so much is how I get to connect with my future travel buddies. As soon as I accepted my spot, I was plugged into a group chat with everyone who will also be on this trip. Since then we have already been able to bond. I decided I wanted to get to know each of them better before we ever met, so I awkwardly asked each of them to send me their home address so I could mail them a personal letter. This gave me the chance to stock their Instagram and read each of their blogs. It was so encouraging when I received letters back that I didn’t even expect and to hear them say I made their day. We have also had the chance to talk through how we are feeling and the whole process in general. And best yet to be able to have a group chat named “Jesus talks!”, where we discuss what we are learning and send daily encouragement. Not to mention having a group face time until 1 a.m. I am so blessed to have such awesome people in my life who are willing to be there for me even though we have never met.

Besides connecting with my squad, you all have been so gracious and amazing through my fundraisers to bring me just over $5,000 in about 2 months. I am so blown away with how God works. With this being said, it means I am so close to being a third of the way funded.

I wanted to remind you of my current fundraisers and get you excited about an upcoming one!

First, I have my Adopt A Box where you pick a box 1-100 and donate that amount.

Second, I am selling Pura Vida bracelets for $10 each. I have custom made them in order to have a color from each flag of where I am going. These bracelets are blue, green, and white and I have been told they are so cute!

Third, I will soon be selling some super awesome t-shirts and crew necks! I am currently waiting to hear from the company helping me out with this, but it will not be long. Prices are yet to come.

There are multiple ways you can get money to me. You can click the donate button at the top of this page, send it to me over venmo (Sydney-Warther), mail it to me, or give it to me next time I see you! If you are choosing to Adopt A Box please let me know which one and your favorite color so I can color that box in for you.

Thank you for reading, have a great day!

God bless you,
