Fundraising isn’t easy. It has been taking a toll on my emotions having to ask people to donate every. single. day. Most days I feel annoying. But everyday I feel grateful.
I really couldn’t do it without everyone who has donated. The amount I have to raise is intimidating, but reaching 50% fully funded has taken a huge weight off my shoulders.
Every dollar really does add up. For my giving Tuesday fundraiser, I raised $400 by receiving some big donations, but mainly $1-$5 donations.
The best thing about fundraising is that I have become connected with people I don’t know or haven’t spoken to in awhile. It was crazy seeing people venmo me or wear Go Rings jewelry when I had no idea that they knew me or even cared about my mission. The Lord has used this to work in my life and others as well.
I feel proud of how much I have raised, but I know that it’s not me, it’s Him. He has worked in my heart and every one of my supporter’s hearts to get me this far in my fundraising. He is using this to bring glory to His name!!
However, I still have about $8000 to go! If you or anyone you know would be interested in donating, I would feel so blessed to talk to you more about what your donation would be doing to me next year! Conversations are always welcomed and greatly encouraged!
