As of right now, while I’m writing this, I’m leaving in 10 hours to go to training camp for the World Race!!! Time seriously has flown by. It’s crazy to think about how much my life is going to change in these next few months. So before I leave, I wanted to write a letter to all of the people who have and will impact my life in the season I’m in. Now lets dive into the sappy stuff:

To my family and friends,

First of all, thank you so much for supporting my crazy calling. Thank you for believing in me and cheering me on when I get discouraged. I love you all so much and appreciate you all being in my life. I truly believe I wouldn’t be the woman I am today if it wasn’t for all of you. I’m sorry I can’t be home for the next nine months but I can’t wait to hear all about the things you did while I was gone. And don’t worry, I already know I’m going to have some crazy stories to tell when I get back. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me while I’m gone. I’m just a text or phone call away. I love you.

Thank you to the mentors and leaders in my life who have spoken encouragement over me. Thank you for helping me see my calling clearer and walking me through the most difficult points in my life.

Thank you to my Mom for always knowing what to say and for always being a safe place to retreat to. Thank you for being strong when I couldn’t and for calling out my sins when I couldn’t see it. I look up to you in so many ways. Thank you to my Dad for being my number one supporter. You two will always be the cool parents.

To my supporters,

To the people who have been praying for my journey or financially supported me, thank you. I could use all the help I can get! The overwhelming amount of support and love I received has filled me with faith. I trust that God has placed each and everyone of you in my path to draw me closer to Him. Your support is important to me and it does make a difference. I am so thankful for your obedience to God. I pray that God has more people planned to cross paths with me and provide more support in the future.

To my Squad,

You guys have no idea how excited I am to meet all of you!!! I’ve been talking to some of you for months and tomorrow is the day I FINALLY get to see you all in person! I am so excited to do life with you all for nine months. I can’t wait for the good times, the bad times, our dance parties, our long travel days, our ministry projects, and our wild adventures. I already know you guys are amazing and I have no doubt in my mind that God placed us all on this Squad and eventually in our teams very strategically. This is going to be an amazing year, I know it.

As I’m sitting on my bed writing this blog, I keep glancing up and seeing my packed pack and daypack (try saying that four times fast). It reminds me that I am heading into a season of change and unknown. Yet I am still overwhelmed with God’s peace and faith. I trust that Gods got me. Thank you again for your support and love. You are all amazing.
