So, we left Langkawi a few days ago. Although we had a lot of fun and developed amazing relationships/connections with travelers and locals, our team all agreed that it was time to go back to the mainland of Malaysia. I’m not sure where we’ll end up or what kind of ministries we’ll take part in but I know that God is calling us back.
With that being said, I can honestly say that in the last few days I’ve drawn closer to the lord then I’ve ever been. I’ve spent a greater deal of time in his word then at any other point in my life. I’m beginning to understand that so much of what I know about God is just because of his grace. There’s no reason I should be able to understand his insane amount of love for me the way that I do. It’s like every time I read his word he’s just reassuring me of all the truths that he has has already placed in my heart.
I would encourage anyone to turn off your TVs, computers, phones, etc as soon as you read this and just pick up a bible. There’s nothing on earth like it. Literally, it’s not of this earth and all of its teachings are eternal, not temporary. I can’t explain the peace you’ll have when you start to press into it. Every single thing you learn from God’s word is forever with you. FOREVER. You just can’t say that about other books. So get that bible out and read it today! Right now!
