The Philippines is my home this month, and my what a home it is. The amazing cuisine, the unbelievable views, and the unrivaled hospitality and loving nature of these people make for a fine display of God’s intentionality and perfect love. I feel as though these people have already taught me more than I could ever try to teach them. My team of 6 and I have been staying at an orphanage In the city of Antipolo which is just on the outskirts of the capitol city, Manilla. The name of this orphanage is Children’s Garden of the Philippines. Their focus is to break the cycle of substance abuse, broken families, and poverty amongst young men ages 12-18 all while showing them that the most powerful force of redemption and peace in the world is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God is right in the center of this operation and it’s been so incredible to see what he’s done and is continuing to do here. His love truly conquers all, and I’m learning that simple truth more and more as I pray, worship, fellowship, evangelize, and just live life with these incredible people.

Also, for anyone who would like to see pictures of what we’ve been doing just add me on Facebook because that’s where I’ll be posting most of the photos.
