Hello!!! Welcome to my blog for World Race Gap Year!
I can’t believe I am writing my first blog right now. It has been a long time coming… but I couldn’t be happier that it’s finally here. World Race has seemed like a cool idea to me for the past two years, but I never thought that it would truly become my reality. I thought that I would be graduating high school and heading off to college to decorate my dorm and go to football games with my new sorority sisters… but boy did I think wrong!!! Instead of that, I am going to be graduating high school and heading off to Guatemala, Ethiopia, and Thailand for 9 months to spread and experience the peace and love of Jesus. Along with spreading the word, my team and I will be teaching English (my favorite part!!), doing manual work, and honestly just whatever else the Lord has planned for us! Whatever our time on the field will look like, I know it is going to be so beautiful and such a time of love and growth. My heart is SO content and filled with joy about this decision. I can not wait to embark on this journey with my amazing team. I can not wait to know the Lord in a way I have never before. I can’t wait for the Lord to send me.
