Friends! Family!
I hope this blog finds you well. I officially get on a flight back to the states in less than 24 hours. What?! These three months have blown by, but I have been a witness to some pretty miraculous things that the Lord has done.
With that being said, I still have 14 hours left in this country and I am still expectant that the Lord can perform one more miracle.
If you haven’t heard, for the past week my team and I have been fighting for a little boy to receive a surgery he so desperately needs. Doctor after doctor either turned us away, or didn’t show up to appointments, or told us they had 200 patients ahead of him…. With our time here in this country coming to a close, we fought hard and prayed harder to make sure that a surgery was lined up for this little 9 year old boy. God has been faithful, and 30 minutes ago a surgeon has agreed to perform the surgery.
When we agreed to help this boy get this surgery, we also agreed to paying for this surgery. His family does not have the money to pay for it and there was no way we were not going to try out hardest to get this boy help. So far, our team raised over $1,000 to go towards this surgery. We need $250 more to pay the total amount of the surgery, his stay at the hospital, and medicine afterwards. I know the Lord can provide this, but my team can’t do it alone. Please join me in praying over this boy, John Michael. And if you feel called to, join me infinancially this boy get surgery.
Through this whole situation, God has been so faithful and has had His hand in everything. I have faith He will continue to do so.
