Guys this is it. My last country, my last month, my last few days. In fact, November 22, 2019 I will land in Miami Florida and my life on the world race will have run its course.

So with this being my final month; it’s time for my final word. Prior to asking for this word I was asking God what was going to be the grand word that tied them altogether. And I kept hearing the word identity.

Identity: the fact of being who or what a person or thing is.

Once I hear this word I knew that this was “a” grand word that tied them altogether but it wasn’t the final word. So, God what are you saying?  “All the words that I have given you are part of your new identity. But I have a different word for you for Colombia.”

Country- Fact (Identity)

Cambodia/ Thailand- I have been given GRACE from God for myself and for others.

Malaysia/ Singapore – I have access to more of God through SANCTIFICATION.

Indonesia- I am called to live RADICAL for God.

Botswana- I have been RESTORED by God.

South Africa- I am to put my HOPE in God alone.

Greece/ Italy- I am called to raise a HALLELUJAH  in the highs and lows.

France/ Spain- I was made to fully ABIDE in God.

Peru- God has placed a FIRE deep inside of me that I can’t contain and I can’t control.

Ecuador- I was made to be a SOJOURNER and JOURNEY with God every minute of everyday.

My new word is a little weird and I was confused when he told me… RUN

The definition of run in verb form is to:

“Move at a speed faster than a walk,
never having both or all the feet
on the ground at the same time.”

But there is more to it. Run can also mean:

“to be in charge of; manage.”
In its noun form run can be:
“a journey accomplished and/or free
and unrestricted use of or access to.”

Ooh this word is fun, little did I know. God didn’t point me to the scripture most think of when we hear the word run, Hebrews 12:1,

“…And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.”

To which I was kind of surprised. Instead He pointed me to 1 Samuel 20 the story of David and Jonathan. This story King Saul was trying to kill David (shocker) but Jonathan did not understand nor want to believe that his dad was trying to kill David. So they set out a plan that Jonathan would find out for sure if King Saul intended to kill David. They would meet in “the place where you hid when this trouble began.” The word used for trouble can also be translated as deed or work. If Jonathan tells the boy, “the arrows are on this side of you” then it’s safe for David to return. If however, Jonathan says, “ the arrows are beyond you” then David must flee. Specifically, God drew my attention to verses 36-38.

“and he said to the boy, “Run and find the arrows I shoot.” As the boy ran, he shot an arrow beyond him. When the boy came to the place where Jonathan’s arrow had fallen, Jonathan called out after him, “Isn’t the arrow beyond you?” Then he shouted, “Hurry! Go quickly! Don’t stop!” The boy picked up the arrow and returned to his master.”

To be honest I’m even more confused with my word and if this is really my word for the month I’m going to need some confirmation.

1st confirmation: God Himself.

He said, “Run and as you run to my arrows and you think you’ve made it… run beyond what you think/ expect. I am calling you further and deeper then you think possible. Hurry, go quick, don’t stop, run. Run to me, to the place where you hid when this work began. Run to the Father.”

2nd confirmation: America.

On the first night of LDW, we had a team worship night. After worship, I had to tell her my word because I just needed someone else to help me wrap my head around it. She responded, “That’s so WEIRD during worship I had a vision of someone like getting up and just running towards Jesus. Hmm.” Yes, Jesus is weird in the way he works but He knew that I would need confirmation. He was prepared.

Part of understanding the bigger picture I read the beginning of 1 Samuel until chapter 20. Something else that I found interesting was the story of when David killed Goliath. David ran quickly toward the battle line. Once David had hit Goliath with a stone and killed him. David still ran  and stood over him. David never stopped running after God. Even when he made a mistake and sinned he stopped and ran to the Father. That is what we are all called to do.

One final confirmation:

About a month ago, one of my teammates kept hearing this phrase whenever they would pray for me. The phrase, “run into the wild.” Now I am still not sure what the wild is but I do know that I’m going to run. Because I have free and unrestricted access to the Father.

Colombia- I was made to RUN into my Father’s arms and RUN beyond my expectations.
