HEY EVERYONE first off thanks for checking out my blog!! Now a little about me…
My name is Rachel. I’m currently a senior at Queens University of Charlotte and have lived in North Carolina my whole life. I am a student-athlete pursuing a degree in Interior Architecture and Design and playing soccer. I’m finishing up my last season of competitive soccer, which will be a bittersweet ending! Soccer has been such a blessing to allow me to share the good news of Christ with my team. I lead a bible study for my sweet teammates (which I totally feel unqualified to do) but God put it on my heart just like he put The World Race on my heart. I have no background in ministry or missionary work but I have had the blessing to travel and see a lot of this world and it sets my heart on fire. I studied abroad last spring in Edinburgh, Scotland and God showed me how beautiful life can be fully following Him. I love Jesus and I love to travel so here I am scared, excited, nervous, optimistic, and ready to dive all into this next chapter of my life. I believe God doesn’t invite us on a business trip but an adventure and I can’t wait to see what this adventure called The World Race holds.
