My squad and I had church on Saturday were we learned about the different types of greek love:

  • Philia: brotherly love between friends
  • Eros: intimate marital love between a husband and a wife
  • Storge: familial love with blood relatives
  • Agape: the deepest, highest, sacrificial type of love from God

After learning about these, I prompted the squad with an activation to act upon what they just learned. Here’s what they were:

  • Philia: Ask the Lord what relationships in your life exemplify this type of love. Listen and then go thank those people.
  • Eros: Pray for your future spouse asking God to prepare each other’s hearts.
  • Storge: Ask the Lord how you can better love someone in your blood family. Act upon it.
  • Agape: Write a love letter to God.

These activation were so so good! I felt God prompting me to share my love letter with you all because oh my goodness!! The love He has for us should be shouted on the mountain tops!! It is just so great and vast and we will never know how huge it is!

Do any of these pull something in your heart? Will you answer any of these prompts?

Lots of love and prayers!
