Hey all!! The Racers have now been here for a full month and I figured it was time I introduce the team I lead to you all! Without further ado…
TEAM MAGDALENE
In Matthew 28, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary found the tomb of Jesus empty and they were frightened at first. An angel then appeared to them and told them to not be afraid for the Son of God has risen from the dead. Go and tell His disciples. Being afraid yet joyful, they left and later ran into Jesus on their way to spread the news. They worshipped Him and were so joyful and reassured when Jesus told them again to not be afraid but go and tell.
When coming up with a name this is the story my team wanted to base our name off of. They want to be people who are obedient of the Lord even if they are afraid as well as people who go and share the miracles of the Lord with immediate joy. I believe this name describes them perfectly!
A woman of true joy and laughter. She has a true hunger to grow shown by coming to me often to discuss what we just learned and how she can apply it in her life. Her identity is in Christ and goes deeper everyday. It is a joy to walk along side her and help her journey with the Lord. Thank you for being a part of this team Marissa!
Kourtney is a woman of strength. She asks the Lord where He is at in every situation and perseveres because of the strength He gives her. She asks questions to develop a deeper understand Him which leads to a deeper, more intimate relationship with the Lord. She also loves dogs as much as I do!! Hehe! I am grateful she is a part of this team. Thank you for being willing to journey with all of us Kourtney!
Hannah is a woman who values community and honesty. She is learning how to be vulnerable and ask for us to partner together in prayer with her. The way I would describe her is a woman of joy in all things. It doesn’t matter if we’re in a long session or playing volleyball together, she looks for the good in every situation. Thank you for being you and a part of this team Hannah!
Kayci brings deep wisdom to this team. She speaks what the Holy Spirit prompts her to speak and does it in a loving and truthful way. She understands being refined by the Lord can be painful in the moment but it will be so so worth it in the end when we look and walk more like Jesus. I am proud of the ways she is challenging and trusting herself with the Lord. Thank you for being here Kayci!
There ya have it! That’s my team! I’ve linked all their blogs so I really hope you go and subscribe to them and support them through prayer and financially if you feel led. Thank you for partnering with me to be able to lead and disciple these young ladies who love the Lord!
Lots of love and prayers,
Paige :):)
P.S. We are headed to DeQuincy, Louisiana tomorrow morning for a week to partner with Samaritan’s Purse on hurricane disaster relief. Please be praying for us and the people we’re partnering with!
