During a training leaders had together, we were prompted to ask God a really interesting question: If we were to play a game together right now, what would it be and why? I was really intrigued by this question and excited to see what God was going to say. Boy was His response cool so I wanted to share it with y’all!
His answer: Hide & Seek.
I was like okay God. That’s an interesting one because I don’t want to be hiding from you. Also I know I can find you whenever I need you if I just seek your guidance. So I asked Him to reveal more to me and He did:
“You think I’m hiding but all you need to do is seek and look for me. I’m right there. Same with you. You think I think you’re hidden from me/hiding something or somewhere but I know exactly where you are hiding. I’m coming to be with you. I know your secret hiding place and I want you to be okay with me seeking you there. I don’t even need you to yell ‘olli olli oxen free.’ I’m here. We’re playing together.”
This response was so beautiful because He’s wanting me to invite Him in deeper to places I try to keep secret so He can bring restoration and healing to things I don’t even know I need those things in. I really loved this conversation I had with the Lord and am excited to learn more from it.
