Romania was special. Why? I finally got to do what I loved to do. I got to use my passions for ministry and it was quite special. After an entire year of being put in the “uncomfortable”, I got to do what I was good at! In month 6, I remember laying in bed thinking “I am numb. I am being uncreative and I thrive in the creative”. People always said “find a way to be creative then” but that is kind of hard when your daily job has nothing to do with that. But God gave me a gift and it was Hope Church and it’s need for a new social media strategy.
I got to create a strategy, a newsletter template and got to train another team to take over my position after I left for month 11. I wanted to share my work because it took me weeks and I am so proud of it! Take a look at what I created for Hope Church.
Also, a quick note. It is OKAY not to be good at all types of ministries. You can thrive in one ministry and pursue that. God did not create us all to be the same. That’s boring.
