If you know me, you know I’m BLIND. Like if I’m not wearing my contacts or glasses I can’t see diddly squat. If it’s not 3 inches from my face, I can’t read it lol. But guess what.. I’ve finally got 2020 vision this year 😉 hehe see what I did there??
Okay okay besides the jokes, I really do envision this year to be a great one! I got to ring in the new year on the top of a mountain in Ecuador. This year, I’ll live in Cambodia for 3 months. I’ll reunite with my family and friends. I’ll start college. I’ll turn 20 (ew that sounds weird). Those are some definite things that I see happening in 2020– but there’s so many more things that I know are gonna happen that I don’t even see coming for me. I’m going to meet more people. I’m going to dive deeper into all God has for me. I’ll just say it here.. I hope I hear the voice of God this year. Like an audible voice. How great would that be. Maybe it sounds crazy, but I think it’d be so nice if He spoke clearly with me. I say this, because on the race I’ve met a lot of people who hear God’s audible voice and it’s honestly something I desire to experience too. If we are made to be in relationship with Him, we are made to converse too and I wanna hear His audible voice and hear from Him in new ways this year. I can’t make God speak to me out loud, but I can at least hope He will. And if He doesn’t speak to me that way, I hope this year I’ll be in tune to any other way He wants to speak to me.
I envision 2020 to be a good year, you guys.
Something I’m thinking about today is a prophecy that was spoken over me in November in South Africa. A man, who we called Uncle Joe, prayed for me and got a vision of 3 very important, life-shaping things happening to me within the next year. He saw the word “IMPACT” with 3 arrows reaching down. He said that this year on my journey was going to be a good one. But the time following it will be even greater. And he said “WOW, you’re gonna have a story to tell.” And I really do believe that prophecy to be true because Uncle Joe has received words and visions from God for over a decade and they have been fulfilled, too. He’s a voice for the Lord. And if God was trying to tell me this next year is going to be impactful, I think I better buckle up and brace for all that might happen. But man oh man, does it make me excited!!!
