Dear supporters,
Hi! I wanted to send you guys a personal message saying thank you for your donation to me these past few months. I wanted to send It on the race to inform y’all how your donation has given me so much fruit. Here in Guatemala I get to live out all I’ve prayed for throughout high school. I get to live with 47 other people which shows me community is the best. I get to really live out a missional lifestyle and get to spend my days revolving around the Lord. I get to experience culture by living here in the city. You’re donation is what got me here and it’s been the most impactful. I was so worried that being on the race I wouldn’t be happy or be too focused on life back home. However, the Lord has given me so much peace and reassurance this is where I’m supposed to be. I’m here because of you and I just am so thankful. Here in Guatemala I get to teach students English, make relationships with the community, and get to do sports ministry. I get to know the communities in my villages and experience life in Guatemala. On weekends I get to experience the country of Guatemala, mainly by going to Antigua. I’ve gotten to experience a farmers market, thrift stores, and the lake. We got to spend time at our month 1 debrief getting to process our first month. I got to get to swim in hot springs, go zip lining, and cliff jumping! It hasn’t always been exciting because I have gotten 2 parasite already lol. The Lord is so evident here. I’m so excited for the rest of my adventures. This isn’t just a missions trip it’s a setup for living a missional life. Thank you so much for your generosity to help me get here.
