HEY! My name is Maegan, and I am super stoked about embarking on the World Race Gap Year!

I get to live in Colorado Springs, CO and dang am I blessed to get to live in such a pretty place. I am the oldest of 4 kids and I love my family a ton. I am so so grateful for their undying support in everything that I am passionate about, including the World Race!

I first discovered my passion for missions when I traveled to El Salvador at 11 years old. I fell in love with the culture, the kids, and the experience of getting to share the love of Christ that can cross all language and border barriers! Since then I have returned to El Salvador and also served on short-term trips in Estonia and Peru. After each of these experiences, I felt more and more called to this clear passion and love I have for serving others and I knew that I wanted to immerse myself into ministry for a greater amount of time.

Over two years ago I decided that I wanted to take a gap year after high school and I somehow stumbled across the World Race! I have been waiting for this opportunity for a very long time now, so I am so excited that it’s finally happening!

Outside of missions, I love to play volleyball, tickle my siblings, play my ukulele, take lots of photos and videos, jam out with friends in my red minivan, and always search for a good cup of coffee.

I cannot wait to find all that God has in store for me on this journey, and I hope that you’ll keep up with me here on my blog along the way!
