Hello friends, family and everyone else who has stumbled upon my blog, I’m so glad God has brought you here! My name is Madison Bailey and I have been accepted to be apart of the world race gap year program of 2019. I am THRILLED and I cannot wait to bring you on this journey with me. The world race is a program that sends tons of missionaries all over the world to lead people to know Gods grace and love, I plan on traveling for 9 months to Guatemala, Ethiopia and Thailand. Currently I am a senior at Brentwood Christian School, I live in Austin, Texas and I am a part of the wonderful community at Gateway Church. I was drawn to the world race when I was a sophomore and have known that this was Gods purpose for me ever since.
One huge commitment to the world race is fundraising, this part can be super scary but I have total faith God will provide for this journey but only through the help of YOU! Each and every one of you play a big role in my journey through the support of prayer and funds. Big and small, every penny counts and that is why it is so important that you consider helping me in this way. A few ways you can help me fundraise is by simply donating through my blog either through a one time donation or a monthly donation. Some other fun ways are by purchasing t-shirts and stickers my AMAZING art teacher helped me design!! If t-shirts aren’t your thing thats okay!! I have also been super blessed to partner with a local company in Austin called Go Rings, this group sells jewelry that is not only cute and fun but it also directly helps fund my trip! All you have to do is go to the website and find something you like (or buy awesome presents for loved ones) and click my name at checkout. At the end of November the company will give me 30% of all proceeds that are purchased in my name. wow, super cool right!! This fundraising opportunity is only valid until the end of November. If you are not in a finically stable place to give that is perfectly okay too, prayer is way more important than money and that is why I ask for you to pray for me and this call God has asked me to follow.
