A lot has happened since my lost blog. I am home for Christmas, I passed my nursing final and have one more semester of nursing school to go before I graduate college (weird, 4 years went by really fast) AND I turned 22 yesterday…t-swift yearrrr!!
And guess what…more is to come!!
This next year of my life, I will graduate Gardner-Webb University with a BSN, start a year long journey across the world with 65 people I don’t even know as of right now, I will be celebrating my 23rd birthday in India (THAT’S AWESOME), my oldest brother is getting married, and the Lord is going to change me and grow me in ways I can’t even imagine.
Y’all…that’s only the stuff I can see! Who knows what else is going to happen!
BIG THINGS ARE COMING and I CANNOT WAIT
Fundraiser update: I have $6,679.17 in my account and my next official deadline is $10,000 by May!
I have spoken with some churches and I have done a bunch of fundraisers and the Lord has provided so much! I have so much more to fundraise and it would not be possible without you all. I am so thankful for each of you and your generosity. I am praying the Lord will open more doors for me to speak at churches and with others so I can tell people about this awesome journey I am on.
The Lord is so good, as soon as I stress he opens 3 more doors for me and reminds me that he has a plan and that this is his will.
Although it can be scary sometimes, I am so blessed and I am often speechless at all I have witnessed the Lord do.
In other news, I really love the Christmas time and my Christmas tree. I know everyone feels this way but, I think my families Christmas tree is just the prettiest of them all. I also will admit, that if it wasn’t totally frowned upon by half of society, I would keep my tree up all year. Sitting by it at night with the lights on just brings my heart so much joy!
On another side note, I got my pack and my tent and some other little things and it makes me SO excited to be going on the WORLD RACE!!! THIS IS CRAZZYYYY OH MY GOODNESS!!! I CAN’T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING IN 6 MONTHS!!!! I WILL BE TRAVELING THE WORLD SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS OF JESUS IN JUST 6 MONTHS!!!!
