Playing soccer with these boys is always a fun time! It always seems to get slightly competitive when I play, but it really is a good time!
Church!! This church was so fun to attend because they welcomed us with so much love! They have tons of joy and are totally spirit ked! It is amazing!!
Some nights after dinner we have dance parties in the kitchen! It’s a blast!
Christmas in Africa! This Christmas was SO special! We started the day with eating chocolate donuts that were so delicious! Then we opened our stocking that were filled with encouraging notes! After that we had a very intense gift exchange! After lunch we had a powderpuff football game! We then wrapped up the night with worship around a bonfire!
THE SKY IS SO SO SO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!
Movie night!! All the kids come rushing in and we all watch a movie together! We love friday night movie nights!!

On Sundays I have Sabbath!! It is a day to rest and seek the Lord all day! I found that I like to sit in the same spot and get all my things and stay there pretty much all day! I love to paint and be creative! This is something that I have learned the importance of and I have really grown to love!
Hanging out with house moms before they go to the market! They are so kind and they love to just sit with us! We hang out with them and sometimes play guitar or drink coffee!
Happy 2020! On New Years Eve we had ministry in the morning and then we had the afternoon off to celebrate! We had a volleyball tournament and a game night! We had a coffee ceremony as a squad! We also had a time of intercession over 2020 and we declared different things that the Lord spoke over 2020! AMAZING!!!!
Sweet moments where these little girls come up to my window and give me flowers! They are so kind! Sometimes they will bring flowers and sing songs! They are so easy to love! <3
We have the opportunity to also help in the kitchen! The food is amazing! I have learned a lot from the cooks! They are two women who love people deeply! They are women of high honor and they are so willing to serve! Man I am so thankful to know them and learn from them everyday! They are blessings!
Some of my squadmates planned a water day for the kids here! We had a slip n slide, water balloons, water musical chairs, and a fun sprinkler! The kids loved it and we all had so much fun together!
Part of our morning ministry recently has been watering the apple orchard on our base! We only have one house so we all take shifts to water the trees! We hang out with the people that work on it everyday and play hacky sack together!
Here’s something really cool that I have been stepping into!! On the last day of 2019 I declared that in 2020 I would step into worship leading!! So here I am leading worship for the very first time! Whoop Whoop!!!
Here in Ethiopia, they celebrate Christmas a few days after we do. We were able to help them decorate their houses for Christmas! Then on Christmas I ate lunch with some kids and drank coffee with the house moms. CHRIST IS BORN!!!!
This is another glimpse into what ministry can look like! On this day I washed some of the kid’s clothes with the house moms!
