OK, it’s getting serious people. 30 days until launch. That is absolutely insane to me. Keep reading for some incredible news!!!!!!!
On April 24th, we had a AWESOME fundraiser night at Joe Willy’s in Rockwall, Texas. My family, friends and I had been praying for this night for a couple months. We prayed BIG prayers to be fully funded by the end of this night.
Well y’all, God showed up!!!
After the night, we counted up all the cash that had been put in the jars and there was close to $800 in the jars. LIKE WHAT! This does not include the 10% of the profit from Joe Willy’s from 5-9pm, or the credit card tips. We will know those in about two weeks.
But after two generous donations….
DRUM ROLL PLEASE……..
WE. ARE. FULLY. FUNDED.

I am so grateful and blessed by the irrational generosity of The Lord’s people. This fundraising process has been such a hard lesson for me. At the beginning, I did not think raising $19,200 was possible… Learning how to ask AND receive has been a tremendously hard thing for me to do. Honestly, I am still learning to do this. My natural tendency is to think “why would anyone want to give their hard-earned money to me???” I guess I did not feel deserving of these gifts from others. But by the grace of God alone, I have grown in my ability to humble myself to the kindness of others.
Although I am fully funded for the essentials of the trip, there are still many expenses/items that I need. If you want to come along side me, I would love that!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am so thankful for each of you. I am blown away by God’s goodness. I am encouraged.
